Mission?

Redesign a complex and outdated platform to improve user experience, simplify workflows, and increase efficiency for attorneys managing medical cases.

Introduction

Alliance Medical is a professional platform used by attorneys to manage medical cases for their clients. The system handles large volumes of data and documents, but at the start of the project, its interface was outdated and caused many issues in daily operations. My task was to rethink the user experience and make it modern, clear, and efficient.

Problem

Users faced many challenges. The interface was overloaded and unintuitive, especially for new employees. Navigation between sections was confusing, and completing basic tasks like adding patients, uploading documents, and approving estimates took too much time. System performance was also poor, further reducing productivity.

Vision

My goal was to completely redesign the user experience. The new design needed to simplify key processes, speed up task completion, improve visual structure, and create a foundation for future scalability. The main focus was to deliver a user-friendly and easy-to-learn interface without unnecessary complexity.

Process

I started by deeply analyzing current user scenarios. I conducted interviews with attorneys and support staff to identify pain points. Based on their feedback, I redesigned key workflows: adding patients, managing tasks, and handling documents. The new design included fixed navigation, simplified forms, filters, and color coding for priorities. I created prototypes and tested them through several rounds with real users. Each round brought improvements, reducing clicks and speeding up task completion

Collaboration

This project required close collaboration with developers, project managers, and key client stakeholders. We held regular reviews and syncs to ensure proper implementation of all details. I actively prepared specifications and prototypes for development handoff and supported the QA team during testing.

Results

The final result significantly improved the user experience. The time needed to complete key actions was reduced by an average of 30%. The new design increased overall user satisfaction, confirmed through positive feedback. New employees learned the system faster, and attorneys reported saving several hours each week thanks to better navigation and streamlined processes. The platform now has a modern and flexible design that is easy to maintain and expand.
